Planner
Key Job
Responsibilities
·
Plan
and release work orders
·
Provide
scheduling support to Customer Service Reps
·
Gather
data and prepare Capacity report
· Maintain and monitor flow to insure
timely execution
·
Coordinate
with internal groups to obtain supporting information as needed
·
Expedite
materials swith supply base if needed
·
Facilitate
quality and thorough processing
·
Analyze
management mandated Key Performance Indicators relating to planning activities
·
Work closely with Production
Supervisor to insure communication and data between Production and other
departments is handled effectively
Requirements
·
Minimum
5 years working experience and extensive hand-on product knowledge in Contract
Manufacturing environment
·
Comprehensive
understanding of manufacturing processes relating to cable, harness, sheet
metal, machine, electro-mechanical assemblies
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and
able to execute multiple scenarios using formulas and functions
·
Experience
in manufacturing processes associated with labor content and materials
requirements
·
Understanding
of materials and labor applied to Work Orders in Contract Manufacturing environment
·
B.S. in technical field of study or
work equivalent
