Position Title: Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities
· Inspiring associates to efficiently produce quality work on time
· Insure associates observe in-line quality protocols, final QC processes, and IQC procedures
· Monitor employee performance to meet/exceed quality objectives
· Review work order (WO) travelers, preparing necessary inspection and testing apparatus, and assigning WOs to associates according to skill sets and job requirements
· Schedule workload by due date and/or special instructions
· Confirm WO status to Production Supervisor/Manager
· Monitor daily working time of associates
· Train associates in the following areas: inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection and testing equipment and apparatus
· Ensure associates to comply with company policies and procedures
· Use appropriate forms for all materials transactions such as Return to Stock, MRB, Scrap
· Assist Management with associates’ performance review and appraisal
· Sustain a safe and clean working environment

Requirements
· 5 years hands-on experience in contract manufacturing industry
· Possess working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and equipment used in the inspection and testing of cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies
· Understanding quality methodologies
· Able to apply QA/QC theories to achieve actual quality goals
· Able to interpret blueprints/schematics and inspect and test final products to drawings and required standards under limited supervision and technical supports
· Willing to train and lead well-diversified and experienced manufacturing associates
· Able to communicate effectively to Supervisor, Managers, staff and peers
· High school diploma or equivalent. AS Degree in a Technical field preferred
