Key Job responsibilities:
§
Manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, sub-assemblies,
supplies, equipment and services at the most favorable costs and at terms
consistent with providing superior service to customers via MRP analysis and
reports
§ Perform
accurate and timely execution of incoming requests while maintaining high
Quality and Customer Service standards
§
Define and drive supply chain excellence for the company
§
Assist in all other purchasing/planning department duties as
required
EDUCATION:
§
BA/BS in related field preferred, and/or 10 plus years work
equivalent experience
REQUIREMENTS:
§ Minimum 5
years purchasing experience in contract manufacturing industry, with emphasis
in environment of cable, harness, and/or electromechanical assemblies which
includes mechanical, electrical, electronic components
§
Strong knowledge of MRP (e.g. shopkeeper); competencies in
using/configuring system
§
Proficient in MS Office with strong EXCEL skills
§
Operate as a collaborative team member and function with minimal
supervision
§
Thrive in demanding, deadline driven culture
§ Ability to
multi-task, pay attention to detail and prioritize/manage multiple projects
simultaneously
§
Excellent organizational skills and written/verbal communication
skills
