Position Title: Manufacturing Assembler
The successful candidate will manufacture cables,
wire harnesses and other electro-mechanical assemblies from component level
parts.
Key Job Responsibilities
·
Strive to
efficiently produce quality work on time using Crimping, soldering, wire
prep, etc as needed to complete high quality products
·
Observe in-line quality protocols
·
Meeting/exceeding production capacity timeframes
·
Ability to read and understand documentation (Building
products per assigned Work Orders (WO) and/or special instructions)
·
Communicate WO status to Assembly Lead
·
Complete daily time sheet
·
Complying with company policies and procedures
·
Use appropriate forms for all materials transactions such as
Return to Stock, MRB, Scrap
·
Sustaining a safe and clean working environment
·
Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
·
Ability to read and understand English
·
High School Diploma, prefer post HS education,
·
Minimum 2 years Hands-on experience in contract
manufacturing industry;
·
Possessing working knowledge of assembly techniques, tools
and equipment used in the manufacturing of cable, harness, and
electro-mechanical assemblies
·
Understanding quality methodologies and their implication on
production line
·
Able to assemble final products to drawings and required
standards under limited supervision and technical supports
·
Willing to be trained on the following areas: assembly
techniques, quality methodologies, and use of tools and equipment
·
Work well with diversified manufacturing associates
· Able to communicate effectively to Assembly Lead, Supervisor, Managers, staff and peers
